This stunning next-generation Hyundai Sonata (DN9) is expected to be offered as a hydrogen fuel cell EV with the added convenience of a plug-in feature that essentially turns the vehicle into a BEV with a hydrogen fuel cell stack as backup power. However, people seem still skeptical about the hydrogen future, which is known to be far more efficient than the ICE and maybe even the BEV.
